Beetroot seeds can be found in abandoned habitats and bases whilst exploring the surface of Mars. With cultivation methods currently available in the beta of Occupy Mars it is also the single most filling food item
Cultivation requires the use of the Incubator and the Hydroponic Shelf (either small or large) to grow to maturity
Each mature plant provides three to four (3 - 4) beetroot (confirmation of quantity without a full stage 1 in incubator needed) with a nutrition value of 9.0 - 9.6 each. Seeds can be extracted using the Seed Machine at a ratio of 1:1.
