Editing How to Grow Plants

To grow plant's in Occupy Mars: The Game, you will need to find plant [[Seed Magazine|Seed Magazines]] at [[Abandoned Base|abandoned structures]]. They are located inside a small, yellow and black box and sometimes on the ground. Using these Magazines requires the [[Planting Tool]].

* Step 1: Choose what [[Plant Types|Plant Type]] you wish to plant.
* Step 2: Use the Planting Tool to plant the desired seed in the [[:Category:Plant Incubators|Plant Incubator]]<sup>*</sup> which has been built in the [[Workshop]], [[Greenhouse]], or [[Hub|Main Habitat]].
* Step 3: Plants will remain in the incubator until they reach Growth Stage 2 then be transplanted via a [[:Category:Plant Crates|Plant Crate]] ([[Small Plant Crate|Small]]/[[Big Plant Crate|Big]]), if available, to the [[Small Hydroponic Shelf]] in the Workshop or Main Habitat, or [[Large Hydroponic Shelf]] in the Greenhouse.
* Step 4: Tier 1 plants may be harvested after Stage 2 completion (100%) or left to produce oxygen. Tier 2/3 plants need to be transplanted to a [[Field]] in the Greenhouse to continue their growing process and reach Growth Stage 3 completion.
* Step 5: Tier 2 plants may be harvested after Growth Stage 3 is completed. Tier 3 plants need to be moved to a [[:Category:Domes|Dome]] ([[Small Dome|Small]], [[Medium Dome|Medium]], [[Large Dome|Large]]) to finish growing to maturity (Growth Stage 4).
NOTE: <sup>*</sup> Plants seeds may be planted directly into the Hydroponics Shelf, but will grow faster in the Incubator.
