Tablet Home Screen

Tablet Home Screen

The Tablet is a multi-purpose portable electronic device that encompasses several management and informational functions, distributed over tabs of its graphical interface. To the left of the display there is the suit battery charge level indicator, and to the right there are usable Home and Back buttons.

You can access the Tablet by pressing Tab[1], which opens it on the home screen. It displays your mission logo, tabs for accessing other screens, and current time and day of the week. You can return to this screen from any others by pressing the Tablet's Home button. Its Back button triggers the Cancel action (equivalent to Esc), bringing you from nested screens back to the gome screen, one level at a time. Pressing Tab from any screen closes the Tablet. Left-clicking a tab opens the corresponding screen; some screens are accessible via a hot key (see below), both from inside and outside the Tablet's interface, so you can skip opening the home screen and selecting a tab for them. Pressing such hot key in its corresponding tab also closes the Tablet.
