Tomato seeds can be found in abandoned habitats and bases whilst exploring the surface of Mars.
Cultivation of tomatoes uses the Incubator, the Hydroponic Shelf (either small or large) and the Field to grow to maturity

A mature tomato plant yields 5 - 6 tomatoes. They provide 1.8 - 3.6 nutrition per tomato. Seeds can be extracted using the Seed Machine at a ratio of 1:2.
Note: The yield is depending on the stages used in growth. A plant that used all three cultivations stations will yield more than a plant that is started off in the last station.
