The Transformer (ECU) provides an interconnective hub for electrical power from production to consumption.
It will take power from one to four sources and deliver it to one to four destinations. From the control console, power may be divided among the four Power Output Ports as a percentage of Total Power Input. Like all Power Supply Building, Electrical Cables are used to join Transformers to other buildings.
Power Input Ports can be connected to the Power Output Port of any of the following:
- Solar Panel
- Battery Pack
- Another Transformer
Power Output Ports can be connected to the Power Input Port of any of the following:
- Battery Pack
- Another Transformer
- Habitat or Support Building
It requires unlocking via the Transformer (ECU) technology unlock within the Electricity Tech Tree.
The Transformer can be expanded with up to 4 Transformer Upgrades, each adding 8 inputs and 8 outputs.
